Chance the Rapper announces North American tour, will come to Pittsburgh

Following the release of his long-awaited debut album, The Big Day, Chance the Rapper announced today he will be making a 35-tour stop across North America this fall.

The tour kicks off on Sept. 14 in San Francisco, and Chance lands in Pittsburgh Sun., Oct. 6 at PPG Paints Arena. It's been two years since the rapper last performed in the 'Burgh.

Tickets go on sale to the general public starting Fri., Aug. 2 at 10 a.m. Those who are Citi cardmembers are able to purchase pre-sale tickets beginning today at 1 p.m. until Thursday at 10 p.m.

In preparation of Chance's arrival, listen to The Big Day, below. "Inspired by all of the different emotions he felt on his wedding day," a press release states,  "the album serves as a reminder of Chance’s importance and relevance to the canon of contemporary music."
