Something that has been bugging Lynn for a while that she hasn't brought up before is the state of Florida charging the sheriff's deputy with neglect in the Parkland school shooting. Essentially Scot Peterson is being charged for his cowardness, for not entering the building during the shooting. The official charges against him are normally used against caregivers like parents and daycare workers. Lynn is conflicted about these charges, and isn't sure whether or not this man is deserving of them. It brings up a conversation on cowardness, courage, and gut reactions.
