The local primary election results are Lynn's focus this morning. Two long time politicians were ousted, Darlene Harris and John DeFazio, and many first time candidates were winners. It makes Lynn think that maybe Democrats need to not go with the safe candidate in 2020.
She is also talking about a couple of pet peeves. Many of the trees on Lynn's street are dying. Specifically there was one tree that she loved, and felt was the most beautiful. Yesterday it was cut down by the property owner. She feels the cutting down of a healthy mature tree is a crime, and she's devastated.
