There's a chill in the air, and Susan is on the phone today. First she and Lynn are discussing the video of a black man being blocked from entering his own apartment by a white woman in St. Louis.
They are also talking about Sears and it's catalog over the years. Apparently it helped African Americans in the south survive during the Jim Crow era. It allowed them to purchase items which they wouldn't be allowed to purchase at stores in person.
