Pittsburgh received two major hip-hop announcements yesterday. In addition to Wiz Khalifa's Black and Yellow Primanti's sandwich, 14 local rappers, hip-hop artists, and soul singers are coming together on July 25 for a free night of music at Stage AE.

Set to perform as part of a local artist showcase from Songlink is Benji., Mars Jackson, PK Delay, Fedd The God, Pet Zebra, My Favorite Color, Choo Jackson, Sierra Sellers, Livefromthecity, Bill Waves, Clara Kent, Pick Patek, Slicky Wiliams, and Bayb Jaymoney.

Andre Power, co-founder of Soulection, a Beats 1 radio show and an independent music label, will be in attendance, with an opening DJ set from the in-demand Pete Butta.

The event, which is technically titled CD10 (Creatives Drink 10), is presented by Creatives Drink, a traveling network event whose goal is to bring together like-minded individuals while providing free drinks.

"Collaboration breathes innovation," reads Creatives Drink's website. "With your help, we can showcase those in Pittsburgh who are breaking barriers in one way or another."

Founded by Cody Baker and Chancelor Humphrey in June 2015, previous Creatives Drink events have taken place at Bay 41, the August Wilson African American Cultural Center, the Vandal, and more.

While music is a main focus of CD10, the overall point is to mingle, drink, and have fun in an infectious, creative atmosphere.
