Britsburgh celebrates 100 years of our BBC with a Shepherd's Pie dinner and presentation at The Whitehall House. No other broadcaster in the world has had such a diverse, exciting and long history as the British Broadcasting Corporation. From its early days with a monopoly on radio and television broadcasting in the UK to increasing competition from commercial broadcasters and streamers, the BBC has aimed to be a leader in finding new ways to pursue its aim to Inform, Educate and Entertain.
