    Dear Jason Roth,
Have you ever eaten Italian food anywhere else but Del's? That is the only way I could understand you picking them for best Italian food in Pittsburgh. There food is frozen for months and sometimes years then microwaved. Barely any of it is homemade. It's overcooked and under sauced. They try to make up for the lack of flavor with large portions. None of there desserts are homemade and all come in from places like Sam's Club even the cannoli and tiramusi. There soups, especially the chicken corn chowder, are a mix of all the old ingredients they can throw together.

Del's is the Denny's of Italian food at best.

I would not recommend it to anyone.
