As a proud participant of the international campaign for migratory birds, the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, in partnership with local community organizations, will host a community day at the Frick Environmental Center, honoring migratory birds and ways to conserve them. The free community celebration will take place on Saturday, May 11, from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. This inclusive event will celebrate World Migratory Bird Day and offer attendees a chance to get up close and personal with birds and insects through engaging and immersive programming for all to enjoy.
