Art in Context: The Hustle
Making money as an artist has changed a lot since Andy Warhol first left Pittsburgh for New York City in 1949, but many of the challenges for young working artists remain. How does one earn an income without neglecting their artistic dreams? The Andy Warhol Museum has curated a lecture about just that. Art in Context: The Hustle will help artists seeking to make some moolah off of their passion on a local scale with guest speakers D.S. Kinsel, co-founder of BOOM Concepts; Chris McGinnis, chief curator for Rivers of Steel Arts; and Casey Droege, executive director of Casey Droege Cultural Productions and others.
