Heart Rate Hikes are intended to get your heart rate up through sustained vigorously paced two hour hikes. The hikes will cover some 5 miles exploring various routes through the park concentrated on the single track trails, "uphill both ways".
Gear you may want to bring with you includes: appropriate footware (hiking boots advised), dress in layers, a day-pack for gear, a water supply you can drink from on the go, hiking poles, micro-spikes or yak-trax for icy conditions and snowshoes should there be a foot or more of snow on the ground.
