The Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh will hold a rally in support of Israel tonight, Nov. 26, at 7 p.m., at the Jewish Community Center, 5738 Forbes Ave., Squirrel Hill.
While a cease-fire agreement was recently announced, the Jewish Federation is calling upon local supporters of Israel to gather and show their solidarity with Israelis, "in the wake of the loss of life and the many injuries sustained during the relentless firing of missiles by Hamas at Israeli civilians," according to a press release.
The solidarity rally will include remarks by Deputy Consul General of Israel Elad Strohmayer and greetings from Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Dr. Michael Oren.
