Help the Tree of Life congregation by supporting local music this week

Looking to donate to the Tree of Life, but unsure where to start? In the upcoming weeks, local artists and bands are assisting in the best way they know how - through music. Money raised from the ticket sales of these events will benefit the Tree of Life Synagogue.

Acts include Daya, Jorma Kaukonen, Low Cut Connie, Joe Grushecky, Sean Rowe, Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root, and Brooke Annibale.

More artists to be announced. All proceeds will benefit the Jewish Federation of Pittsburgh’s Victims of Terror Fund.

100 percent of ticket proceeds & a generous portion of concession sales will go to benefit the "Our Victims of Terror" Fund at the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh & the Public Safety Support Trust Fund to help the injured Pittsburgh police officers.

The night kicks off with a silent auction at 6 p.m., and music starts at 7 p.m. Proceeds will go to Tree of Life, Dor Hadash, and New Light.

Until Jan. 1, a portion of proceeds from all Opus One concerts will benefit the Tree of Life Synagogue and will be split equally among their congregations (Dor Hadash, Tree of Life and New Light).
