Lynn talked about the very real danger that young Americans will have no memory of a functional government, no appreciation of a functioning democracy. She quoted a poem that says, “Our children will not know it’s a different country.” That is true and truly chilling because it makes it that much easier for the fascists and authoritarians to succeed.
