Hundreds of people filled Liberty Ave. in Bloomfield on Saturday for this year’s Dyke March. Attendees used the march to express their love for the trans and queer community and to protest against the current administration’s actions. Protesters also criticized UPMC for adhering to the Trump’s restrictions on trans healthcare chanting “Fuck UPMC!” as they marched down the street. According to their social media, “Pittsburgh Dyke March has stood up for our trans sisters, brothers and siblings. Trans dykes are Pittsburgh and trans dykes are here to stay!”
