Allegheny County Elections Division staff lead a tour of the elections warehouse on Thursday prior to next week’s primary to demonstrate how ballot machines work, walk through the vote by mail process, and answer questions about administering the election and election preparation. Of the 908,348 registered voters in Allegheny County, Elections Manager David Voye approximated a 30% turnout. Allegheny County is hosting ballot return sites on May 20th as well as in person voting.
