Director, Substance Use Services. Allegheny County’s Department of Human Services (DHS) is nationally recognized for making data-driven decisions and relentlessly testing new strategies to find what works. In Allegheny County, we hold the levers for a $500 million behavioral health Medicaid program, alongside another $200 million in additional, flexible funding to improve the behavioral health of the county’s most vulnerable children, youth, and adults. The Director of Substance Use Services will lead Allegheny County’s system of care for prevention, treatment, and recovery supports for people living with substance use and co-occurring disorders. The role reports to the Director of the Office of Behavioral Health and oversees four direct and 11 indirect report staff. The salary range for this position is $110,594-$121,653. Assistant Town Manager. Town of McCandless. The Town of McCandless is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Town Manager. The salary range for this position will be between $105,000 – $125,000 annually. The Assistant Town Manager is an executive-level position that supports the Town Manager and Town Council in efficiently and equitably delivering local government services to the constituents of the Town of McCandless. Project Coordinator (Part-Time). The Frank House Foundation seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the Foundation’s programs and operations. Community members, prospective students, current students, alumni, and families are welcome to meet instructors and administrators and to learn more about Beattie’s programs. The Career Center offers 18 programs to provide students with an educational experience to be college and career ready after high school graduation. Students who attend A.W. Beattie receive hands-on, real-world experiences, and students who achieve the necessary standards of career education excellence through Beattie and their high school programs are able to be inducted into the National Technical Honor Society each year. The programs fulfill elective credit requirements for 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade students. Seniors who attend A.W. Beattie participate in the NOCTI exam, which awards industry certifications and college credits based on test results.
Students may also participate in several student organizations like SkillsUSA, FCCLA, ProStart, NHBA, Beattie 360, Beattie Ambassadors, E-Sports teams, and Beattie Student Voice to build connections and leadership skills, foster a positive school environment, and compete regionally and nationwide in their selected field of trade.
