Apparently Pittsburgh has a “Godfather” and he has his own reality show debuting tonight on the A&E network at 10 p.m.

According to press material, the show focuses on local businessman Vincent Isoldi, who owns several local ventures including Club Erotica, a gentleman’s club in McKees Rocks. Post-Gazette TV critic Rob Owen has a first-episode recap and calls the show a “reality TV version of ‘The Sopranos’ with Yinzer accents and a title character who looks more like Michael Chiklis than James Gandolfini.”

Both the P-G and the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review have larger stories on Isoldi, the shows’s claims of his actual Godfatherness and some of the show’s supporting characters including Isoldi’s father-in-law Junior Williams who did a four-year stretch, beginning in 2003, in federal prison for running an illegal gambling operation.

  1. Another fake reality series to make more money for the network and someone who should never have made the money he did.

  2. i just saw part of this show, where the man who is the head of his security had his custodial child taken from him 5 yrs ago. it took vince 1 phone call to a p.i. & he found an address which was surprise! as the security guy called it …”where her father lives’. so this security guy never even attempted to do some leg work on his own? i dont care how broke you are, you wash floors, dig ditches & pay a p.i. to find your son. the child ended up not being there, but the point is that father should have been all over that town 5 yrs ago. he did get custody after the mom was arrested. i just hope is a better dad this time.
