I am independently excited to hear Bernstein’s “Jeremiah” and Stravinski’s Firebird Suite, but then I found out that this was the combo that Bernstein conducted to premiere the symphony in Pittsburgh in ‘44, so now I am simply vibrating in my seat with excitement.

The start of a new month means First Friday, and one new Pittsburgher felt immediately at home in the steel city.
I want to thank the City of #Pittsburgh for welcoming my daughter. She describes her neighborhood “First Friday” experience as true community. Art. Music. Connection in place. I am so very grateful she has this experience. pic.twitter.com/UMpkAN206B

A brawl broke out during @LilTunechi performance at the A3C Festival. No shots were heard. Wasn’t Wayne related in any way. #A3C #LilWayne pic.twitter.com/z1ObnT57rL

Lil Wayne was about 5 songs in, people were running out of the VIP tent. I started running too. I never heard gunshots. I stopped to head back then a 2nd wave of people were running so I had to run or get trampled.
