Vincent Zepp lives in North Oakland in the neighborhood known as The Fringe. He is the current chair for the Szep Foundation. He has served as poetry director for the Three Rivers Arts Festival and director of the Fourth River Poetry Festival. His work has appeared locally in such memorable publications as The Exchange, Membrane Envelope, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and City Paper. 2009 will see the publication of a selected collection entitled Vinification.
Many writers featured in Chapter & Verse are guests of Prosody, produced by Jan Beatty and Ellen Wadey. Prosody airs every Tuesday at 7 p.m. on independent radio, WYEP 91.3 FM.

Mr. Zepp’s kind demeanor shows in the humor of many of his poems. He pays keen attention to the incredulity of life and can state in a minimalist format. Pittsburgh is lucky to have him.
