Four times a year, dozens of galleries and cultural institutions in Downtown Pittsburgh open their doors to art lovers for a free Gallery Crawl in the Cultural District. According to organizer Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, the quarterly event brings nearly 30,000 annual visitors. On Fri., Sept. 27, as temperatures reached a high of 81 degrees, photographer Joie Knouse was there to capture the scene as the streets and museums filled up with folks checking out the artwork.
