Friends of the Riverfront hosted Slammin’ Cans, a day of community art, live mural painting and local vendors at Color Park along Three Rivers Heritage Trail on Saturday. Artists spray painted large concrete canvases to compete for prizes and show off their skills while attendees were encouraged to try graffiti for themselves. Max Emiliano Gonzales, an artist with Pittsburgh Creative Corps, organized the graffiti jam featuring work from Zim Syed, Ada Griffin, Tom Ndiaye, Cosmic Copilots and many more.
