    Re: “Article of Faith
    Great article.

Thank you for posting and sharing your personal account; and it is very personal- both the Forum, your feelings and perceptions during the course, and the interaction with your family during and afterward.

I took the Forum and Advanced Course almost 5 years ago.
I felt "fixed" and powerful then but, wouldn't you know, as I shied away from authenticity and did not enroll people actively and courageously my power, subsequently, faded. I had personal breakthroughs-- many of them--and they were profound.

Your article was a nice refresher course, as it allowed me to mentally revisit who I became in that Tucson hotel room many years ago. It re-inspired the grand ideas I had for humanity and re-enlisted the courage that lay dormant until recently.

I realize now after gaining the Landmark insights and empowerment to live a life of limitless possibility that it is crucial to enroll others from the nuclear family to the circle of friends and beyond in order to sustain and perpetuate these great feelings of freedom and elation that we gain after hour upon hour in the non-descript hotel banquet room.

You're right- it IS hard to do this. Perhaps the easiest part, in hindsight, was sitting in a room for 3 days on end, in uncomfortable seats with strangers. The hardest part was becoming authentic in the eyes of all who "know" you on the outside. But with this new-found freedom one must enroll others in his/her possibilities and aspire to a greater good outside of one's own personal ambitions, or gratifications as it were. The experience of being mentally freed was so enlivening and joy-filled. However, it can be given wings through "enrollment" or one can begin to slowly dig a grave for one's new ideology. I believe that is why the 'Landmark Self-Expression,' the third installment is fundamental to the success of the entire "technology," as it were. If we don't follow through with the third installment then we, incidentally, give up our integrity to the entire transformation. I believe this is where I erred.

My own personal eye-opener to this realization came from the previous years' turmoil as I let my highest ideals fade and my mission to derail. I'm reminded of a poignant scene in the motion picture 'Into the Wild' when the character Chris McCandless is dying alone and isolated in the Alaskan wilderness in which his agony is morbidly apparent. He scrawls on a book page, "HAPPINESS ONLY REAL WHEN SHARED." Having lived and, ultimately, died by his own cherished idealism he painfully sees the error in his ways. His distaste for all things external of himself was his undoing, having never *authentically* sought his real power to effect change through creating the possibility for a better world, and, incidentally, lived by his "story" that nobody understands him or would ever see things the way he saw them.

I wrote in my note-taking journal from Landmark's Advanced Course in 2005 that, "Disillusionment happens when no one is enrolled in the goals, dreams, and possibilities I have created and thus dies within me."

I'm taking responsibility for this-- that I did not keep the greater good in mind with my newly discovered mental freedom back when Landmark afforded me this revelation. I created the possibility, then, of being a published author and to change lives with my writing and words. I've recreated this possibility now, in the present, with true authenticity behind it. I'm enrolling all who read this is of that possibility.

Only after I've now resurrected myself, my ideals, and my courage can I rejoin my original mission that I lost only a few years ago.

So, as we approach 2010 I'm reaffirming my higher purpose. I will be a published author on topics that will inspire greatness in others and give others their lives back. I will teach the universal Law of Attraction to the best of my ability that collective consciousness is systematically raised and each person can fully realize their incredible potential and aspire to their highest ideals. I can and will help others live their dreams. I aspire to help create a world of peace and harmony where each person discovers and fulfills their individual purpose, finds contentedness and prosperity, and relinquishes trying to exert control over others by manipulation and force and the usurping of others' energy.

I will help expose everyone to the unlimited and universal source of energy available to all, whose nature is unconditional love, so that we are free to create, rather than be forced to compete.

This is the possibility I'm creating for 2010 and beyond.
2012 is the pinnacle of change. It's already begun.

"We are the ones we've been waiting for."

    Safe journey,

    Tristan
