Travis Winters: So There I Was

From March 3rd - April 2nd, BoxHeart presents Travis Winters: So There I Was on exhibit in the upstairs gallery. Winters constructs characters, often humorous, each focused on its own individual narrative from clay. These stories are based on mundane day-to-day life, past struggles, and real people. He models his ceramic figures with exaggerated folds and wrinkles in order to create a visceral encounter with each narrative.
