The Trans Pacific Partnership is a high level multilateral trade and investment agreement among twelve countries in the Asia-Pacific Region,and will allow the US and Japan to reinforce their solid bilateral relationship and set the agenda for future trade and investment practices across the region.In parallel with the TPP negotiations, Japanese Prime Minister Abe has pursued his Abenomics economic revitalization program.
