One thing I would have liked to see addressed in the article is how people who do not have cars are supposed to recycle their old TV sets.It's one thing to say Best Buy and the PRC will accept them, it's another for people without cars to figure out how to get them there.

All around the country the ward system which supported a Democratic machine is now failing. Social and demographic changes in Pittsburgh have taken power from the ward committees and they can no longer turn out the vote like they once did. In a future article about how the Pittsburgh electorate is changing this could be looked into.
