This sounds like Europe's responses to Hitler in the 1930s. A fixed election in Austria had allowed Hitler to annex that country. The rest of Europe yawned. Neville Chamberlain and the French negotiated away the "Sudetenland", a portion of Czechoslovakia that had a majority German population, and Europe cheered as war (shutdown) had been avoided. Well, at east delayed. Europe yawned again when Hitler marched into the rest of Czechoslovakia. I wonder if America yawns or cheers again in January or February when the temporary borrowing authority expires or has already been used up, "Obamacare" is still despised, is still unequally enforced, and the economy has continued to erode. Will the media wake up and do their job? Will the Senate listen to their constituents? Lots of questions about he future of this land. The wrong answers will continue the nations descent into servitude, debt, and dependence.
