Uh? note to Ms. Noble. Shadyside is one of the most affluent neighborhoods in Pittsburgh. You were adopted by affluent old types suffering from white guilt because they inherited their money and hate themselves because they never had to work for anything in their life. Instead they live in the alternative world of academia and pontificate what about everything wrong with the US. You are just a token black kid adopted to show off their esteemed elegance to their arts and croissant friends there in Shady Side.
