Celebrate the birthday of the famed playwright, August Wilson, at the Third Annual August Wilson Birthday Celebration. Join the August Wilson House Committee in front of Wilson's childhood home for a birthday celebration honoring Wilson's work, legacy and neighborhood. Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to view captivating performances of select passages from Wilson's play, King Hedley II, on a stage in the backyard of the August Wilson House.
