We are excited to announce that Therese Rocco will be joining us on February 28th at 7pm for an in-store event. She will be discussing her memoir that details her life and 40 year career with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police. A documentary about Rocco will premiere on March 7th at the Heinz History Center. Therese Rocco is known to her colleagues as The Rock. This diminutive woman, at the age of nineteen, began her career in law enforcement as a clerk in a small, all-female missing persons unit of the Pittsburgh Police Department.
