The Tragedie of Othello, the Moore of Venice

Friendship, love, betrayal and jealousy take a dark turn in Shakespeare’s The Tragedie of Othello, the Moore of Venice. The soldier Othello, a Moore, marries Desdemona, the daughter of his patron. He passes over Iago for a promotion, and Iago sets out to poison Othello against his young bride. See how a handkerchief can be a source of major mischief. The Tragedie of Othello, the Moore of Venice is performed in rep with The Two Gentlemen of Verona, using the Unrehearsed Cue Script Technique. As always, Unrehearsed Shakespeare Project shows are fast-paced, family-friendly and FREE!
