Join us in a Global March for Elephants and Rhinos here in Pittsburgh, PA on September 24, 2016. This will coincide with the opening day of the CITES CoP17 conference in Johannesburg, South Africa. We are marching to eradicate all trade in ivory and rhino horn and to better protect these endangered species from the threat of extinction. These iconic animals are targeted by international criminal networks for their body parts. There are fewer than 400,000 elephants and 18,000 rhinos left in the wild in Africa. Poaching kills more than 35,000 elephants and 1,000 rhinos every single year.
