Talking Books @ LBPH: Tracks

Thursday, August 16 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM, Julia and Patty will host the Talking Books Discussion at LBPH (4724 Baum Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA, 15213). We will discuss the book Tracks by Robyn Davidson (DB 18639). In her mid-twenties and somewhat bored with life, the author decides to catch and train wild camels for a trip across the rugged Australian desert in hopes of both getting to know the aborigines and proving herself. She describes her experiences in making the 1,700-mile trek, portraying the land and her feelings of self-fulfillment. Some strong language.
