Re: “Wandering Off

It's not like these very Republican legislators weren't the ones who voted to gut the budget of the Veteran's Administration. What hypocrites they are. They were also the ones who voted to cut education funding, funding for food stamps, funding for children's health, oh, and let's not forget the EPA budget cuts. Even as they did all these things, they voted to continue handing out tax money over to the oil companies, and huge agri-business. Since they've done their very best to deny everything that contributes to our quality of life, they aren't representing us. So why do we elect them? Do they really deserve to be paid by us?

Re: “Death Panels: Republican-led House committees are killing LGBT anti-discrimination bills before they get ever get a chance to live

If legislature has no idea how to solve REAL bread and butter issues, they come up with ridiculous BS to stir up the base. The only purpose of this particular issue is to detract from their inability to address real problems. When are people going to wake up and realize if rights are taken from any of us, they will soon be taken from all of us.

Re: “Public Protest: Crowds take to streets in wake of Zimmerman acquittal

I think the Dept. of Justice ought to look into the judicial system and laws in the state of Florida and all the other idiotic states, mine included, that pass these despicable laws. These laws are enacted by the people that the voters elect. We have it right here in PA. I think if our states insist on having these laws, everyone needs to be carrying a loaded weapon. I refuse to be a victim. And clearly Black people have a lot more to be concerned about. I'm relatively white, but these victims are our neighbors, and if someone comes against them, they come against all of us. It's about time the voters realized that.

Re: “PennDon't: Corbett once again fails to deal with transportation funding

The people of PA elected this useless pieces of self-serving trash. Let them live with it.
