Re: “We offer a Top 10 list for structures no longer with us.

Mellon building #2, the Union Trust Building, is the real travesty here. That place was a beautiful mall with an open area in the middle which is almost completely filled in with office space floors now.

Re: “Pittsburgh n'@

I've been living in the city for more than 4 years now and I love it. That's why i bought my house in the hill district!

Re: “Building Consensus

As a homeowner in the hill district, I'm happy to see some of the buildings coming down and the overgrown lots being taken care of. There are some beautiful and historic row houses that would be awesome to save, but when 1 owner lets their property fall to ruins, it destroys the fabric of that whole block. I'd like to see the city really put dead-beat owner's feet to the flame, and have them take care of it or they're property gets sold to someone who will take care of it. I would love to buy up these empty lots and abandoned buildings, but the URA/City/Owners would rather sit on them.

Re: “Jerome Bettis' Grille 36

I didn't like the grille when i went there, but it was about 2 weeks after the opening. Service was slow, and the "cinamon mashed potatoes" were gross and cold. What a weird dish.
