Re: “Garfield’s “tiny house” has a bigger price tag than expected

How could Eve Picker not have known the costs up front? That's the most stupid thing I've ever heard. Why did Mayor Bill Peduto endorse this stupid project? He must be in bed with Picker and part of the development of this stupid project. Why are the costs/sq. ft. to build this tool shed $330/sq. ft when the cost should have been around $50/sq. ft.? Why is anyone crowdfunding this disaster? Why is any business donating to this POORLY RUN non-profit? This whole project is an EMBARRASSMENT to the Tiny House movement and Eve Picker needs to shut down her non-profit, since she has no expertise to run it. How much more funny or corrupt could this all be? and I have criticized this project for at least a year, when I first heard about it. Plus, Picker got the lot for $1,000 form the Land Bank, and she initially wanted to put (4) Tiny Houses on (1) lot. That was really going to be a sinful crime against the poor in Pittsburgh, or young people starting out since they would have provided Picker with $440,000 per $1000 lot purchase price and Picker's $100,000 in materials and labor for the (4) tool sheds with a profit of over $300,000. Non-profit my ass.
