Re: “Nude dancer says strip-club rules invasive, unnecessary

@200411232
So you think that people should be prohibited from doing things that YOU don't like. I don't like many things that go on in society either, but that doesn't give me (or YOU) the right to tell other people what they can and cannot do.
It is a shame that there are people like you who would use government to force people to live their lives as YOU see fit. Don't you understand that this is America? If someone wants to drive without a seatbelt or ride without a helmet- even though it puts their health and welfare at risk- that should be their own decision. If someone wants to watch nude women dance, and there are women who want to dance nude that should be their own decision. Guess what; the world doesn't revolve around you-you little snowflake. I agree with all your observations on television and degradation of women, but it is none of my business what other consenting adults want to do with their lives. I can try to show people a better way to live. I can support educational programs to make sure that people understand the implications of their decisions, but to "shut them all down" as you say is more in line with facism and socialism than it is with freedom and liberty. I hope that you change your way of thinking because I don't agree with you and I just may have to get legislation passed to "shut you down". Don't like the sound of that do you? It's no different than others feel when you try to "shut them down" because you disagree with them.
