Nominations for Pittsburgh City Paper’s Pittsburgher of the Year Award


Who is eligible for nomination?

Any person from Allegheny County who makes a strong contribution toward the betterment of the community. Nominees can come from the private or public sector and can include, but are not limited to: public servants, business owners, educators and those working for non-profits. But the point of this award is to celebrate a member of the Pittsburgh community who works daily to make this city and county a better place. Anyone is eligible for nomination.

Nomination Process

All nominees will be considered for this award; however, the winner will not be selected by public vote. CP’s POY will be selected by our editorial department. To nominate an individual, fill out the online form below and provide as much information as possible as to why the person is deserving of this honor. The deadline for nominations is 5 p.m. Wed., Dec. 6. Email questions to [email protected]

Announcement of Winner

The winner will be revealed on the cover of City Paper’s Dec. 20 edition.
