"The Hands of Orlac" stars Conrad Veidt as a concert pianist who becomes convinced that his newly attached hands are causing him to experience murderous urges.
The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center in Sewickley is hosting a Pittsburgh Silent Film Festival screening of "The Hands of Orlac," a 1924 Robert Wiene horror film about a concert pianist whose hands are replaced by those of an executed murderer. The screening will be accompanied by live music by the Pittsburgh Composers Quartet.
