Phish Documentary

Making fun of Phish and its fans is a time-honored American tradition, but it's mostly in good fun. Even the most ardent jam-band haters have to respect the band's musicianship, work ethic, and vacuum cleaner solos (OK, they don't have to, but they probably should). Dig deeper into the story of Vermont's finest with Between Me and My Mind, a new documentary that follows singer/guitarist Trey Anastasio as he prepares for an epic New Year's Eve show at Madison Square Garden. It's an endearing, thoughtful film about creativity that challenges the perception of self-indulgence and laziness that's often associated with jam bands. Regardless of where you sit on the hater-spectrum, you'll find something to like in this one.
