Murphy's Bill is foolish. We know that violence is not from mental illness. Violence stems from anger. Forcing people into bad treatment won't help. It will only make people more angry. We know that as many as 90% of those labeled mentally ill are survivors of abuse, neglect and trauma. That includes our vets. We need to help people find safe ways to feel and express their emotions including the big, scary emotions like anger. Murphy should have learned that in school and in his practice if he were any good. Jaffe makes up lies and is a follower of the E. Fuller Torrey cult. It seems like Murphy has joined this cult too. Torrey has held for decades that schizophrenia is caused by cat poo. Perhaps we should lock up all the kitty's? And let's not forget his ghoulish fetish of collecting brains. For decades, he's fueled his ghoulish fetish and not produced a single iota of useable data. These are some scary folks.
