Pandas are cool. But Pandas 3D, a heartwarming and inspiring film about pandas overcoming literal and figurative hurdles, shown on the biggest screen in town at Rangos Giant Cinema in the Carnegie Science Center, is extremely cool. The film, which is narrated by the professionally likable Kristen Bell, follows efforts of scientists in China as they attempt to train panda cubs for life in the wild, taking tips from black bear rehabilitators in the U.S. The pandas drink from baby bottles, climb up trees and splash in the river. If this doesn’t warm your heart, then you probably don’t have one. -HL
