German Oktoberfest September 6 & 7 at Teutonia Männerchor. Deutschtown, Pittsburgh, PA, 857 Phineas Street. Open to the public. Live bands, authentic German food (schnitzel, bratwurst, potato pancakes, pretzels, spätzle, and desserts) and bier. A large tent in the parking lot of seats hundreds of guests, with space for dancing—keeping the festival open rain or shine.Tours of the half-timbered clubhouse, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, will be available free to attendees.
