Join Rivers of Steel in celebrating pioneering women. From Rachel Carson and Ida Tarbell to Mary Schenley and Helen Clay Frick, our panelists will consider the impact these pioneering women made on society around them and on future generations. Inspired by women who have opened doors to the outdoors, these panelists represent the women of today – advocates and scientists, academics and athletes, executives and volunteers – all inspired to improve the quality of life in our region and make it possible for us to enjoy our natural places. Panelists: Karen Abrams, Lisa Brown, Sabina Deitrick, Jane Menchyk, Joey-Linn Ulrich.
