Oakmont Paranormal Society taps into spirits at Carnegie Library of Homestead

“If I had to pick out the top investigation-worth buildings, this would probably come out on top.”

The Oakmont Paranormal Society led several tours after dark this past weekend through the Carnegie of Homestead’s Library, Athletic Club and Music Hall. Participants were encouraged to bring flashlights and cameras as paranormal staff wielded spirit boxes and electromagnetic field detectors in hopes of conjuring the likes of steelworkers, athletes and even Andrew Carnegie himself. This year’s event pulled in nearly $3,500 for the library, and over time has raised about $15,000.
