"Haters", that's quite a silly comment. In today's economy ( or any economy for that matter) people don't always have the luxury of working for a company that they like. I worked for EDMC for over 3 years, and the more I learned about the organization, the more I learned to hate it. I found another job, but it took me over a year. Both of my grandfathers busted their butts in the Mills. I know they didn't like working there, but you do what you need to do to survive. I am sure alot of people across the world "hate" the company they work for but need the money. It's not a perfect world.
Anybody that is surprised by this has not been following the news the last few years. I left EDMC 6 months ago largely because I knew something like this was coming soon.
