NewMoves Contemporary Dance Festival

KST’s newMoves Contemporary Dance Festival shines a spotlight on contemporary dance and on new and established talent here and outside of the region. Launched in 2009, the festival plays a vital role in the local dance scene by fostering new works and connections and encouraging choreographers to take creative risks. Most of the works are new projects in development and/or are produced by early-career artists. Audiences get the opportunity to hear innovative voices while artists share their work with a rich peer network.
