New Installations: 40th Year

Join the Mattress Factory for a celebration of "New Installations: 40th Year," featuring new work by Yoán Capote, David Ellis, Vanessa German, David Pohl, Meg Webster and Allan Wexler. And introducing the never-before-shown archive of Greer Lankton, curated by Margery King. Hailed as the best museum for installation art in the U.S., the Mattress Factory invites visitors to experience "art you can get into." Over the past 40 years, the museum has presented and commissioned new installation and performance works by more than 750 artists.Opening reception Oct. 6, 6-8 p.m. This event is FREE.
