Every Monday, CP staff writer Jordan Snowden wraps up the weekend in local and national music news with #MusicMonday. Here's what went down in the past few days.

Local

Five-piece rock band Wilson was set to hit the stage at The Smiling Moose March 9. The show has been moved to March 2.

Clara Kent is shining this week on WYEP. Tune in at the times below to hear her smooth voice bless your radiowaves.

Speaking of WYEP, the local NPR station is celebrating Black History Month with the sounds and history of Gospel music.

Longturn Music brought London DJ duo Waze & Odyssey to Pittsburgh to close out a U.S. and Canada tour.

And, the world-traveling electronic musicians liked the 'Burgh's music scene! Go PGH!

Their show this past weekend is just the start of multiple EDM acts visiting Pittsburgh this month, including Space Jesus, Dillon Francis and Alison Wonderland, 12th Planet, G Jones, and Excision.

National

Now to the main event: The Super Bowl LIII Halftime Show.

74-year-old Gladys Knight started the night off right with a stunning performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner."

The rest of the musical performances, however, left viewers unimpressed, bored, and wanting more.

The artists this year was a bit of a mixed bag, including Adam Levine from Maroon 5, Big Boi of Outkast, and Travis Scott.  Good try NFL. Maybe next year, maybe next year.

What seems to have gotten more attention than the performance was a brief appearance by Spongebob Squarepants ...

... and the completely unrelated arrest of 21 Savage.

For years, the rapper claimed to be from Atlanta. Turns outs, he is allegedly from London.

The internet went crazy with memes, and then for no reason at all, Demi Lavato and Wale got involved.

The World Wide Web is truly wild. Since it's so nice today in Pittsburgh, let's maybe take a break from our computers ...
