Every Monday, CP staff writer Jordan Snowden wraps up the weekend in local and national music news with #MusicMonday. Here's what went down the past few days.

Last night, livefromthecity debuted his latest album Lightwork with a listening party in Bloomfield. The 10-track album, featuring Benji., Jordan Montogomery, JM the Poet, Zende, and A'leighsha dropped at midnight and is available on multiple streaming platforms.
No joke! Select April shows at Mr. Smalls Theatre are BOGO, today only.

Speaking of Mr. Smalls, Millvale Music Festival is ringing in its day-long community event a day early with a show featuring Adelaide in Autumn, Victoria Morgan, The Summercamp, and the Vics.

The SWMRS show set for this Saturday at The Rex Theater is now sold out, but it's not too late to try and win a pair of tickets.

Feeling lucky? WYEP is giving away a pair of tickets to see The Who at the end of next month.

Grammy-nominated rapper Nipsey Hussle, 33, died after he was shot six times on Sunday afternoon. Hussle is being remembered not only for his music but for his philanthropy work in the L.A. community.

Tame Impala fans are gushing over its new music. During a performance on SNL this weekend, Kevin Parker played "Patience," which dropped March 22, along with a mystery song that has now been identified as "Borderline."

Remember "Call Me Maybe?" Carly Rae Jepsen is back, with a new album and scheduled North American tour.
