Moments & Souls

Moments and Souls features the work of Richard Burke and Dale Schmitt. This exhibit focuses on their passion for photographing people. They approach their work of capturing people in very different ways. Richard’s inspiration has often come the work of Henri Cartier-Bresson, who defined the concept of the decisive photographic moment. Richard uses a technique of taking pictures without looking through the viewfinder to get more honest expressions. Dale’s inspiration has come from the revealing portraits of Yousuf Karsh.
